How To Turn Off Cross-Play In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 And Warzone
The newest season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 brings fresh content through a new battle pass and various gameplay additions. But beyond the new gear and updates, players now have greater control over their in-game preferences—most notably, the ability to disable cross-play in both Ranked and regular multiplayer modes.
With Season 3’s launch, Activision also introduced tougher anti-cheat measures aimed at delivering a cleaner, fairer experience. A key part of this initiative is the expanded cross-play toggle, now available not just in Ranked Play (as it was before) but also in standard multiplayer matches across Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
How to Disable Cross-Play in BO6 and Warzone
-Start the Game
Open Black Ops 6 or Warzone from your platform.
-Access Settings
Navigate to the Account and Network tab from the main menu.
-Select Your Mode: In this section, you’ll see options for:
Multiplayer Unranked
Multiplayer Ranked
Warzone Ranked
-Adjust Cross-Play Preferences
For each mode, you can choose from:
Cross-play On
Cross-play On (Console Only)
Cross-play Off
Note: You can’t change these settings during matches or from lobbies. You’ll need to return to the main menu to make any adjustments.
