Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred Revealed – Paladin Returns, Two New Classes Coming in 2026

Blizzard shocked The Game Awards 2025 with the reveal of Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred, the game’s next major expansion;  and it’s a big one. Headlining the announcement is the long-awaited return of the Paladin, officially joining Diablo IV alongside a second, still-mysterious new class. The expansion continues the dark saga against Mephisto, pushing Sanctuary closer to all-out corruption, and introduces a brand-new region to explore.

What’s coming in Lord of Hatred:

  • ⚔️ Two new playable classes, including the Paladin

  • 🗺️ New region with fresh enemies, dungeons, and story content

  • 🧩 Major system upgrades: loot filtering, crafting improvements, and deeper endgame systems

  • 🔮 Horadric Cube returns, modernized for Diablo IV

  • 🎒 More stash space & character slots

  • 🎁 Vessel of Hatred included with purchase

Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred launches April 28, 2026, with early Paladin access available through pre-purchase editions — setting the stage for one of Diablo’s most ambitious expansions yet.
