From Reveals to Legends: Gamescom 2025 Starts Now

Gamescom 2025, Europe’s largest video game festival, unfolds at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, with the Opening Night Live kicking things off on August 19, followed by the fair for industry and the public running from August 20–24.

This year’s edition marks record-breaking growth, featuring an 11% increase in exhibitors from around 60 countries, and spotlighting titans like EA, Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, alongside hardware and streaming giants such as Asus, Disney+ and Netflix Diario AS. The Opening Night Live, hosted by Geoff Keighley, delivered a barrage of high-profile reveals, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Resident Evil Requiem, World of Warcraft: Midnight, Ghost of Yōtei, Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Black Myth: Zhong Kui, and a Sekiro anime, among many others.
