Shameless plug incoming...I have been locked into Bethesda's Fallout 3 on the PC for a couple days now and I have to admit that this game is almost my game of the year. Well, the World of Warcraft expansion is due out on November 13, so that might consume most of my time--but as of right now, Fallout 3 is an exceptional game and you must purchase it today!

1up is reporting that Bethesda has revealed the official release dates for Fallout 3: October 28 in North America, and October 31 for Europe.

"We are very excited to let gamers get their hands on Fallout 3, the latest chapter in this beloved and highly acclaimed franchise," Bethesda President Vlatko Andonov said about the release. "To meet the huge demand for this title by our fans worldwide, we are planning one of the biggest launches of any game released this year."

As the successor to one of PC gaming's most legendary franchises, the game should be one of the most popular of the year, and it had a strong showing at this year's E3 event, where it won "Best RPG" awards from various gaming outlets. It'll be available for PC, 360, and PS3.

Bethesda has just released three new screens for their upcoming game Fallout 3, which is the latest entry in the legendary action RPG franchise. The game is currently looking at a Q4 release on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

Bethesda Softworks confirmed that the long anticipated role-playing title, Fallout 3 will make it's way to stores in the Fall of 2008.

In addition, the company revealed that the title which originally was made for the PC will be coming to the next-generation although they haven't confirmed which systems yet, it's believed to be for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Staying mostly quiet on any other details, the company claims the latest Fallout will, "reinvent" the RPG.
