Universal Pictures announced today that they are in development of a game based on Universal Pictures' blockbuster
action-thriller "Wanted", starring James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and
Angelina Jolie. The game will be
published worldwide by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and is being
developed by renowned game developer GRIN, best known for its work on the Tom
Clancy: Ghost Recon Advanced
Warfighter series and the upcoming Bionic Commando.

"'Wanted' is a film with a fantastic visual style, an in-your-face
attitude and edge-of-your-seat action sequences, and moviegoers around the
world have resoundingly embraced it," said Bill Kispert, Vice President
and General Manager, Interactive, Universal Pictures Digital Platforms
Group. "From the time we read the
script and saw the film's pre-visual material, it was clear that 'Wanted' was a
powerful property -- one that was well poised to deliver an engaging gaming
experience. We look forward to working
closely with the film's creative team to extend 'Wanted's' mythology and to
expand the story behind the Fraternity of Assassins."

The "Wanted" video game will feature intense third-person action,
taking combat to a new level with iconic moves -- such as "curving
bullets" and "Assassin Time" -- drawn directly from the film, as
well as an innovative, multi-layered cover mechanic. The storyline of the game will pick up where
the movie leaves off, providing fans with another chapter to explore both
Wesley's journey into becoming an uberassassin and the epic fiction of the
Fraternity.

The 'Wanted' game, in development since
early 2007, will be available later this year for consoles and personal computer

Ubisoft announced today that it will publish Hell's Kitchen:
The Video Game, for Wii, Nintendo DS, PC and Mac this September. The game is
currently being developed by Ludia and is said to allow players to experience
the show's high-pressure kitchen and dining room challenges as a faithfully
rendered 3D Chef Ramsay watches their every move.

"I had a great time doing the voice for my own animation,” said Gordon
Ramsay. "Being in a video game is a new experience for me and I'm very
pleased with the results.”

After executing the three phases of an order – preparation, cooking and service
– Chef Gordon Ramsay will score each meal. As they progress through the game,
players will be rewarded with access to recipes from Chef Ramsay's own
repertoire.

"Hell's Kitchen has everything a great video game needs: pressure,

It’s almost time. In one day,
Apple will release the iPhone 3G (July 11) for a suggested retail price of $199 (US) for
the 8GB model and $299 (US) for the 16GB model in both Apple and AT&T's

customers.

The App Store will be

eventually...

GameBump
is officially seeking to hire talented writers who are interested in working
within the gaming journalism field, so if you've got mad writing
skills, have a drive for seeking out the latest gaming news and
reviews, and know your way around a console or two, you're just what
this new, fresh site is looking for. It also helps if you can take a
joke (see above).

Applicants need not have
experience working on another site, but they must include some recent
writing samples to prove they're not in the fifth grade. Accepted
applicants will be put on probation until they find their niche, be it
news, reviews, previews, editing, interviews, editorials, or various
features. Previous experience within the industry is an obvious plus,
but mostly we're interested in people with a passion for videogames
who'd like to join this exclusive, innovative
team.

GameBump is also searching for additional
programmers and
graphics designers
to help lighten the load on the rest of us; simply include the position
you're looking at in the subject line of the email and our very own
programming or graphics specialists will talk with you about specific
knowledge you should already have.

At current all
positions are volunteer, but you get free games, the chance to attend
events/trade shows under the GameBump name, work experience, contacts,
published material, and some flashy text for your resume. Also, you get to
hang out with me and/or Aaron Dunlap - that's an experience that can't
be replicated in and of itself.

We look forward to
hearing from some great and talented
people.

Instructions:

Include
your position in the subject line, either: staff writer, general
contributor, programmer, editor, or graphics
designer

In the body of your email, include: any
prior writing experience, your favorite game (and why!), your owned
hardware, your preferred company (if you have one), how you heard about
GameBump, what you think you can bring to the table, and why you're
just dying to work here.

Attached, please include:
at least one-two writing samples; this can be anything, but don't let
it be less than 500 words. We want to get a feel for your style more
than anything. And no viruses,
please.

Send your email to me here and I'll respond to
let you know I received it. If I don't respond, send another copy to
here. Good

Below are a few excerpts from their preview.

The build on display seemed close to finished with the full world realized and missions in-place. Another big aspect of this franchise is traversing whichever city it’s

Liberty City. It’s an absolutely massive environment—a network of
boroughs attached by a series of waterways.

Carjacking has been made a little more involved this time. If you try

Could I say, "hot" items. Last week, the online company dropped Call of Duty 4 to $40 while the MSRP was still standing at $59.99.

The crew over at the Microsoft headquarters recently decided it was a smart idea to place in some kind of mechanism that will allow you to limit the time your children play on the Xbox 360. This is also a good way to play practical jokes on someone and limit them to 10 minutes on there console. Funny? No? It was worth a shot...

The Family Timer option is available in 25 countries where Xbox Live is available. You must have Xbox Live in order to use this feature. Helpful notifications will appear to warn gamers that the session is
nearing the end so they have sufficient time to save their game, and
the feature will automatically turn off the console when the
predetermined time limit has been exceeded.

Click the jump to find out how to set this option.

To set the Family Timer

From the System area of the Xbox Dashboard, select Family Settings, Console Controls. Enter your pass code, if one is set.

From the Console Controls screen, select Family Timer.

Select a period for the time limit—Daily or Weekly.

The Daily option allows you to set limits on console use per day in 15-minute increments.

The Weekly option lets you set limits on console use per week in 1-hour increments.

To turn off the Family Timer, select Off.

Move the left stick to increase or decrease the time limit for the selected time period.

Select Continue on your controller to return to Console Controls.

Select Done. You will be prompted to set a pass code if you don't have one.

Select Save Changes.

To add time or suspend the timer

Anytime
a Family Timer notification appears on the screen, press the Xbox Guide
button (the center round button on your controller) to bring up the
Guide with Family Timer options. Enter your pass code.To extend play
time, select Add More Time. To turn off Family Timer restrictions, select Suspend Timer. The timer will reset next time you start your console. To turn off the console immediately, select Shut Down Console.
