SEGA of America has officially announced that Virtua Tennis World Tour for the PSP.
The game had previously been noted as coming for the system, but now SEGA has confirmed the reports. The game will be an update for the PSP and will include various courts, many professional tennis stars, create a player mode and mini-games. The game also looks to include Wi-Fi support for up to four players.
Creative Director for SEGA, Matt Woodley said, "Virtua Tennis on PSP successfully combines the legendary gameplay of the Virtua Tennis range with great new features designed for the gamer on the go. Add to that a roster of licensed players and the game looks gorgeous on the PSP's amazing screen and you've got what I believe is a must-have title."
