Codemasters has announced that they are currently working on a next-generation Colin McRae title.

The game is the first in the series in two years and expands the competition by including a wide variety of off-road games. McRae will still feature mud, dirt and gravel rally cross events as well. Meanwhile another update to the game will be in the international events which will include official cars and real world locations that are based on real roads.

Colin McRae 07 is scheduled to release sometime in 2007.
